Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other necessary items for the construction project, which consists of the placement of asphalt plant mix including milling, patching, leveling, resurfacing, and striping of twenty various county roads in Habersham County, Georgia, covering a total length of 11.93 miles. The work additionally includes milling, patching, leveling, and resurfacing of three roads in the Town of Mount Airy. All work must comply with the 2024 Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, applicable Supplemental Specifications, Project Special Provisions, and any available project plans. Bidders are instructed to submit sealed bids marked with the project name and number. All bids must be received by the stated deadline. No faxed bids will be accepted. A bid bond amounting to five percent of the total bid is required, along with performance and payment bonds each equal to the full contract amount. Bid documents may be inspected at the county office. Bid proposals cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after submission.
