The project consists of mill and overlay of East Boeing Circle Road from Boeing Boulevard SW to a location approximately 350 feet south of Gate 01; overlay of East Boeing Circle Road from a location approximately 350 feet south of Gate 01 to a location approximately 25 feet south of Gate 01; joint and crack repair on all pavements inside the project limits; miscellaneous patching and leveling improvements inside the project limits; full-depth pavement repair work for subgrade remediation at miscellaneous locations inside project limits (as alternate scope work); and striping, signage, markings, pavement markers, and traffic control. The total length of the project is 1.259 miles. Bidders must be Alabama General Contractors licensed by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors for Alabama prior to the date of bid opening, and must place their current license number on the outside of the sealed bid envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total contract amount, a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a labor and material payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Contractors and subcontractors are required to use E-Verify for employment eligibility verification, and the project is subject to all applicable federal and state requirements.
