Stabilize approximately 260 linear feet of Rum Riverbank exhibiting moderate to severe erosion, concentrated washouts, and significant bank failure. Work includes the installation of angular riprap armoring below the typical waterline, twenty-eight rootwads at the waterline, fieldstone riprap between rootwad trunks, and fieldstone boulders as ballast at each rootwad. The slope above elevation 851' will be regraded and vegetated with native seed and live stakes. Additional work includes restoring two existing bendway weirs using Class V riprap to restore their profile and effectively redirect flow. The general work entails site restoration, erosion controls, seeding, and related appurtenances. The scope includes common excavation, haul and disposal of excess material, furnishing and installing various types of riprap, boulders, silt curtains, topsoil borrow, rolled erosion prevention, live staking, rootwad harvesting and installation, and other related work. This work is subject to prevailing wages and labor standards.
