The project generally consists of the installation of streetscape lighting components along Bound Brook Road in the Borough of Dunellen including walkway removal, excavation, buried conduit, concrete foundations, sidewalk restoration and other related work. The contractor will also be required to coordinate the installation of light fixtures, standards, bases and wiring that will be installed by the electric utility company. Work at additional locations may be ordered by the Borough if deemed appropriate. This project is partially funded by a grant from the "New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund Authority Act" and, accordingly, the successful bidder shall be required to perform the work in accordance with the contract documents and requirements of the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Award of this contract is subject to New Jersey Department of Transportation approval.
