Traverse City Light & Power (TCLP) is requesting bids for a service contract for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, for electrical distribution system construction and maintenance services. The awarded contractor will supplement TCLP's existing workforce on an as-needed basis. The work may include emergency response, routine operation and maintenance work, as well as capital improvement work on the 13.8 kV overhead and underground electrical distribution system, with limited work on the 69 kV transmission system. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, fuel, insurance, and transportation. All materials will be provided by TCLP unless an emergency requires the contractor to purchase materials onsite.
