The Village of Amanda, Ohio, is seeking Statements of Qualifications from consulting firms to provide planning and preliminary engineering services related to pedestrian and vehicular connectivity and infrastructure conditions in the community. The project aims to assess connectivity, mobility, and infrastructure conditions between downtown, key destinations, and surrounding neighborhoods. Services may include feasibility studies, project planning, assessment of pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular connectivity, infrastructure condition assessments, revenue forecasting, funding and financing options, preliminary engineering and conceptual design, environmental review, economic and cost-benefit analyses, public benefits studies, statutory and regulatory framework analyses, Value-for-Money studies, evaluation of long-term operations and maintenance costs, and assessment of private financing and project bundling opportunities. The final scope, budget, and schedule will be negotiated with the selected firm(s) in coordination with program requirements. Statements of Qualifications should include: firm overview, relevant project experience, experience with the Village of Amanda, project team qualifications, and at least three professional references. SOQs will be evaluated based on experience with similar projects, qualifications of key personnel, prior experience with the Village, and experience working with rural communities or federally funded technical assistance programs.
