Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in York, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed bids are requested for the replacement of an existing bridge superstructure with a new composite, prestressed concrete spread box beam superstructure. Bids must be submitted online via the specified program. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the City of York in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided with the bid. Bidders must submit evidence of their qualifications to perform the work. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The contract time for completion is one hundred thirty-five (135) calendar days. The City of York reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Questions Due Date: May 20th 2026, 5:00 PM EDT All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing via the Online Portal.
