Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hammond, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
Fabrication and construction of two prefabricated steel pedestrian bridges on the east side of North Cherry Street (LA1065), one 120 LF over Ponchatoula Creek and another 80 LF over L-6 Canal. The work includes clearing and sitework, construction and traffic signage, four cast-in-place reinforced PC concrete bridge abutments, three timber bridge pile bents, about 140 SY of 6-inch thick PC concrete connecting sidewalks, about 32 8-foot-long safety handrails, maintenance of traffic and traffic control, and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Question Deadline 05/28/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing not less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the opening of bids
