Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Hammond, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 64-bed detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified and licensed general contractors to provide comprehensive pre-construction and construction management at-risk services for the construction of the River Parishes Regional Juvenile Detention Center, a 64-bed facility. Qualifications will be evaluated based on firm background, safety record, relevant project experience, CMAR/alternative delivery project experience, methodology/schedule, staffing, and potentially an interview or presentation if requested. Interested firms must have a current contractor license in Building Construction and certify compliance with Louisiana licensing laws. The solicitation encourages participation from small, minority-owned, and women's business enterprises, and does not discriminate based on social or economic disadvantage, race, color, sex, gender, age, disability, or national origin. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must make advance arrangements.
