Site work for a water / sewer project in Hammond, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of new 12", 10", and 8" water mains along Airport Rd., Gorman Rd., and Booker II Rd., including approximately 9,200 LF of 12" PVC (PR-160) water mains (about 3,300 LF to be directionally bored/jacked & bored); about 1,800 LF of 10" PVC (PR-160) water mains (approximately 500 LF to be directionally bored/jacked & bored); about 3,700 LF of 6"/8" PVC (PR-160) water mains (approximately 900 LF to be directionally bored/jacked & bored); reconnection of about 74 existing water services (including service saddles and SDR-9 tubing); locating and tying-in existing water mains to new water mains at 23 locations; associated valves, fittings, removal of the existing (abandoned) water line; miscellaneous clearing/sitework; and all associated and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents are available for purchase from the issuing office, with a refundable deposit policy for documents returned in good condition within the specified time. Bid seQuestion Deadline 03/05/2026curity is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing not less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the opening of bids.
