Sealed bids in duplicate are invited for the Governor’s Hall Partial Interior Renovations project at Vincennes University. Work must be performed in accordance with plans and specifications available at specified locations. The method of bidding includes three contracts: General Construction, Mechanical Construction, and Electrical Construction. Bids must be executed using the provided forms, Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, and Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96 (revised 2013). A completed AIA Form G705 stating 'none' if there are no sub-contractors is required, along with a satisfactory bid bond payable to Vincennes University for not less than 5% of the total bid price. All addenda must be acknowledged on the bid form. Contractors must not withdraw their bids within 90 days of opening without written consent from the Owner; otherwise, the bid deposit may be forfeited as liquidated damages. Awarded contractors must provide an approved Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount of at least equal to 110% of the contract price or as prescribed by law. Plans and specifications must be strictly followed. Copies can be obtained from MACO-Evansville Blue for a deposit of $200 per set. A $20 shipping fee applies. Two complete sets may be obtained on a refundable basis if a responsible bid is received and documents are returned in good condition, or if the intention not to bid is communicated and documents are returned in good condition at least seven days prior to bid receipt. Non-conformance with these terms results in forfeiture of the plan deposit. Deposits should be made payable to Vincennes University.
