Sealed bids are requested for the siding of the Prairie Moon Museum Building located at S2727 Prairie Moon Road, Fountain City, Wisconsin. The building is approximately 100 feet long by 42.5 feet wide with a curved roof ranging from 12 to 16 feet high. Bid responsiveness is required, meaning bids must comply with all material requirements of the bid invitation specification. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Replace existing rotting boards as needed with pine boards o Remove soUit and fascia o Fasten adjustable openings o Perform other prep work to be able to access work area such as removal of lights, disengagement of railings, etc. o Install moisture management system and tape all seams o Install quality steel horizontal siding on building exterior including necessary starter strips, J channel , undersill, corners Color and look of siding should be the same or as close as possible to existing building Minimum of 30 year warranty of steel siding used o Wrap existing windows with white, maintenance free trim o Wrap two doorframes with white, maintenance free trim o Install new soUit and matching fascia for maintenance free finish o Crews must be trained, licensed and insured. Contractor shall furnish Certificate of Insurance for worker's compensation and an umbrella certificate of liability and property insurance in the minimum amount of one million dollars to Town Clerk before beginning work o Crews must maintain safety requirements at all times during the construction process and mark or cordon off work areas Crews must keep work area as clean as possible during the construction process and clean debris with magnet sweeps at completion of project
