The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management, will initiate a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process that starts with a prequalification phase, followed by an Invitation for Bid, to support ongoing repair, maintenance, installation, and parts replacement for pumps used across its facilities. There are nine groups of pump classifications for servicing: Vertical Turbine Pumps, Horizontal Split Case Pumps, Submersible Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Vertical Chopper Pumps, Progressing Cavity Pumps, Piston Type Positive Displacement Pumps, Watson Marlow Pumps, and Vacuum and Hydraulic Pumps. The successful vendor will provide full-service pump support, including procurement, installation, disassembly, detailed inspection, transportation, repair to OEM standards, reassembly, and startup for these pump types. Expectations include compliance with OSHA standards, lock out/tag out procedures, manufacturer safety recommendations, control of tools and work areas to prevent incidents, securing openings, safe equipment handling, and adherence to all safety codes and permitting throughout the repair process. Vendors must deliver comprehensive, OEM standard pump inspection, repair, installation, and safety-compliant field services as described in the scope of work.
