The Major Construction Items Include Approximately: 1,476 Sy Excavate & Regrade Sidewalk And Parking Areas; 259 Sy Stone BASE Course, 4 Thick (Sidewalk); 48 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5m-64 Surface Course, 3 Thick (Sidewalk); 30 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5m-64 Surface Course, 2 Thick; 75 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 25m-64 BASE Course, 5 Thick; 10 Units Traffic Marking Lines & Symbols, Thermoplastic (Handicap Spaces); 10 Units Traffic Signs (Handicap Spaces); And Other Incidental Work Appurtenant Thereto Docs notes: Request for electronic copies of the bid documents may be made to Lindy Morales via email: lmorales@vancleefengineering.com. Prospective bidders must obtain bid documents in this manner so that Van Cleef Engineering Associates may keep an accurate listing of bid holders should the bid opening be delayed or the bid documents need amendment. Bids must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit with either a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and such other documents and certifications as required in the Bid Package, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27 et seq. Bidders are also required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law and the Prevailing Wage Act. The Union Township Mayor and Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit of the Township of Union
