Question Deadline: May 25, 2026 This project is for engineering services for the design of two additional 3 million gallon digesters (Digester 6 and Digester 7). The Regional Wastewater Control Facility (RWCF) currently operates two anaerobic digesters (Digester 4 and Digester 5) to stabilize sludge for dewatering and disposal. A 2021 capacity analysis projected the hydraulic capacity to be over the maximum capacity by 25 percent as of 2025. There is also an operational need for redundancy. To ensure continued digestion capacity and improve dewatering reliability, the RWCF Digesters 6 & 7 Project will provide two additional anaerobic digesters for a combined volume of six million gallons.
