Description

Renovation of a multi-residential development in Loogootee, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 21-unit multi-residential development.

The project is to complete the rehabilitation of a total of twenty-one owner-occupied housing units in the unincorporated limits of Lawrence County. All contractors submitting letters of interest must have a $1,000,000 liability insurance and workman's compensation policy (or a state certificate releasing this requirement). A notification letter will be sent to contractors on the bidders list only, except for two minority and women owned business enterprises. Interested contractors will be placed on an active bidders list until June 2027. The Lawrence County Board of Commissioners and the Southern Indiana Development Commission reserve the right to reject any and all letters of interest based on funding source disapproval of the contractor. MBE/WBE businesses are encouraged to submit letters of interest. There is a goal of ten percent MBE/WBE participation. For questions, call SIDC at (812)295-3707.
