Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project is located along Saratoga Avenue between Big Basin Way and Dagmar Drive in the City of Saratoga. The pipeline traverses from Manhole (MH) 5-088-27 at the intersection of Big Basin Way and Saratoga Los Gatos Road and heads North-East terminating at MH 3-100-06 on Dagmar Drive. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following Trenchless rehabilitation of approximately 9,300 lf of 12-inch to 15-inch diameter Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) or Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) trunk sewer. Rehabilitation of 26 existing sanitary sewer manholes. Site and pavement restoration. All work associated with this contract shall include, but not be limited to, mobilization/demobilization, traffic control, erosion and sediment control, cleaning, debris removal and disposal, control and bypass of sewage flow, inspection and testing, permitting, fencing, site and pavement restoration, site access and security, and such other items or details that are required by the Contract Documents. All of the work is to be performed at the locations, and according to the forms, sizes, dimensions, materials, lines, grades and elevations set forth in the plans and specifications for the above-entitled Project which was approved by the District Manager and Engineer. Bids are solicited for work on Units shown in the plans and specifications. The Project is primarily located along Saratoga Avenue between Big Basin Way and Dagmar Drive in the City of Saratoga and includes rehabilitation of approximately 9,300 linear feet of 12-inch to 15-inch diameter sewer mains with cured in place pipe liner and rehabilitation of 26 sanitary sewer manholes.
