The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for installation of a new chlorine gas scrubber system, generator, motor control center, piping relocations, HVAC improvements, and power/control wiring to existing equipment within the existing Chlorination, South Return Activated Sludge, and Control Buildings at the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project involves two prime contracts: General Construction and Electrical. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws protecting individuals from discrimination, minimum salary and wage requirements, the Steel Products Procurement Act, and other federal and state requirements. The City will determine the lowest responsible bidder based on the quality of services, responsiveness, past performance, process compatibility, volume handling capability, contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, and technical and financial resources.
