Sealed proposals are invited for a Dirt and Gravel Road project on Miller Rd. The work includes the installation of four new 15-inch pipes totaling approximately 140 feet and one new 18-inch pipe of approximately 60 feet, kept as shallow as practical with a minimum 2% fall throughout. Installation must follow Dirt & Gravel Road Specifications, including headwall and endwall on all pipes. Each 20-foot section of pipe requires one-half triaxle load of 2RC, with R4 stone to be used for inlet and outlet protection as needed. All disturbed ground must be seeded and mulched after construction. A four-inch blacktop is required in all ditches. Work must be completed by August 20th, 2026. Prevailing wages and liquidated damages of $870.00 per calendar day apply. Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory on-site meeting. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality, and a performance bond or certified check for 10% of the contract amount must be furnished within 20 days of award. The municipality may reject any or all proposals. Jackson Township will supply all pipes and headwalls.
