Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing labor, material, and equipment for the construction of Lake Norman State Park - Wastewater Improvements. The project includes selective tree removal, replacement of piping and spray heads within the existing spray field, replacement of pumps, aerators, power phase converters, dredging, liner replacement within the wastewater lagoon, and ancillary work indicated in the contract documents. Bids are for General Construction - Single Prime and must be lump sum. The bidder must submit the form Identification of Minority Business Participation and complete either Affidavit A or Affidavit B. Proper state licensing is required for contractors, with specific classifications needed for general contractors. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the proposal. Performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract price are required. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 30 days after closing. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
