Furnishing all tools, materials, and labor, and performing the work necessary to remove the existing clay roof tile, install a new underlayment, reinstall the existing clay tile, including concreting the hip and ridge tiles over the new underlayment (new tiles of a matching material, shape, and color may be used to replace broken tiles). Also furnish and install new metal drip edge at roof edge locations. This work will be done on Marland's Grand Home, 1000 E. Grand Ave., Ponca City, Oklahoma. Bids shall be made in accordance with the plans, specifications, and other bidding documents available for examination at the Office of the City Clerk of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Prospective bidders may obtain a set of documents for a non-refundable deposit of $25.00 for each set. No partial sets will be issued and no refund will be provided for sets that may be returned. All bids submitted must include the word "BID", the name of the bid item or project, and the time and date of the bid opening on the face of the sealed envelope. A cashier's check, a certified check or a security bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidder shall submit Certification of Insurance for Public Liability and Workers Compensation in the amounts prescribed by Statute with the City of Ponca City named as additional insured. If any person who contemplates submitting a bid is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the drawings, specifications, or other proposed contract documents he may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof.
