Site work for a military facility in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility.
Repair or replace the edge light conduit under the south end of the runway between two existing manholes. Provide all materials, equipment, labor, transportation, and supervision to accomplish the work. Directional drill 4" HDPE approximately 415' under the runway to replace damaged edge light circuit conduit, with a minimum depth of 10 feet below finished grade. Pump water out of existing manholes for access, core drill or jack hammer and patch each manhole as necessary for 4" conduit entry, and install conduit flush with bell ends, sealed around openings. Coordinate with specified airfield management for safety and access, and follow all required safety procedures. Contractors are required to perform a site visit to inspect the work area, verify material types and measurements, and ask questions about the project scope and requirements before bidding. As-built drawings are required. The contractor must provide written engineering documentation of the actual footage of new underground duct required for property documentation.
