Sealed proposals are requested for the provision and installation of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units for the Division of Police. Proposals must be prepared in accordance with the specifications and bid forms available in the Office of Administrative Services. Bidders are required to follow all outlined procedures for submitting their proposals. The City of Brunswick is desirous of purchasing and installing three (3) Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Units for the City of Brunswick, Division of Police. All equipment quoted shall be brand new, no used parts or units will be accepted. The price or prices quoted shall be "Delivered to the City of Brunswick" and include all labor and materials to complete the job. Delivery shall be within thirty (30) days of bid award or list first available date. The equipment shall meet or exceed the following specifications: This is a design/build bid. A structural engineer must certify that the correct size unit to supply heat/ air-conditioning is installed per the square feet and ceiling height. Structural engineer must certify that the proposed rooftop unit weight is acceptable for the Police Department, jail and kitchen areas. Fabricate and install any sheet metal transitions as required for supply and return air duct work on roof. Contractor must remove and dispose of existing unit off-site, reconfigure and install new curb adapter. -Positioning of new unit to fit without obstruction from additional equipment on roof. -Rig and install new heating and cooling unit -Reconfigure new ductwork to match new HVAC unit -Install new wall thermostat in each space area with digital controls in cloud Piping of all condensate drains to roof drains shall be included. All connections for gas and electrical transitions shall be included and connected to the existing control system. Contractor shall be responsible for all tools and labor necessary for a complete and professional installation including checking, testing and start-up. Any and all rigging requirements shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Engineer must do a heat/load calculation to determine correct size for air-conditioning. (ex. 40 Ton Unit).
