The project is known as "Village of Egg Harbor Beach Dock Reconstruction 2026". It includes reconstruction of a failing concrete dock, reconstruction of a stone revetment wall, reconstruction of sidewalk and concrete seating areas, and construction of a silent-sports/kayak launch, on Village-owned property (Egg Harbor Beach) on Alpine and Beach Roads, in Egg Harbor, Door County, WI. Alternate bids will be accepted for the dock reconstruction portion (predominantly marine construction), the remainder of construction (predominantly land-based construction), or a combination of the two. Complete digital bidding documents are available by direct inquiry to the Project Engineer. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidder's maximum bid price, in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or Bid bond. The bidder awarded the contract may be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract within 10 days of award or execution of the contract, if the Owner so chooses. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and accept the bid which best serves the interests of the Owner. No bids shall be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid opening date. There will be no required Pre-Bid Meeting, however interested bidders can request an in-person meeting by contacting the Project Engineer.
