Site work for a water / sewer project in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes - at time of bid - to perform the work described herein as the general/prime contractor. A 5% bid bond will be required at time of opening bids. Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the awarded contractor. Compliance with the City/County Utility Commission's Minority and Women Business Enterprise program is required on this project. Please refer to the Special Instructions to Bidders contained in the Project Manual for the City's M/WBE program requirements and project subcontracting goals of 6% MBE and 4% WBE. Award is subject to final approval.
