The project consists of replacing the existing steam heating plant with a hot water boiler plant alongside all downstream piping and heating terminal units throughout the building, project expected to take place from May of 2026 through September of 2026. All Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 days after the bid date. All Bids must include a Bid Security of ten percent (10%) of the maximum Bid price in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, bank money order, bank draft or Bid Bond payable to Kalispell Public Schools, executed by an acceptable surety. A one-hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond will be required upon award of the contract. Montana Tax & Wage Rates: 1. A 1% Montana Gross Receipts Tax is applicable to this Project. 2. The Montana State Prevailing Wage Rates are applicable to this Project. Each Contractor will be required to have a certificate of registration from the Employment Relations Division of the Montana Department of Labor and Industry in the proper classification. Kalispell Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and combination of Bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the Bids deemed most advantageous to them.
