Asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Greenwood, South Carolina. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
The scope of work will include abatement of approximately one hundred seventy (170) linear feet of asbestos-containing HVAC duct mastic and pipe insulation and associated debris inside the Two thousand four hundred fifty (2,450) square foot crawlspace of the 'Old Cambridge House' at 1024 W Cambridge Drive in Greenwood, South Carolina. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all asbestos-containing and/or asbestos contaminated material affected as indicated in the specifications for 'Old Cambridge House'. Basement Equipment Room a. Water Heater b. HVAC Air Handling Unit c. HVAC duct work to a point not more than 10 ft. from unit d. Furnace e. Sump Pump f. 120-gallon volume/ decoupler tank and related piping g. Natural gas piping beyond where the supply line has been capped h. Heating water loop supply and return piping Building Grounds i. Boiler and related supply and return piping j. 15-ton condensing unit k. 5-ton condensing unit and related refrigerant tubing / piping l. Equipment pads for above grounds equipment Under House Crawl Space m. Hot water loop piping under the home to a point before where the piping penetrates the subfloor. What remains needs to be secured with a hanger strap. Second Floor n. Package Air Conditioning Unit and related water piping o. 5-ton vertical Heat Pump, connecting duct to the unit, and water piping 2. Lander University will ensure all electrical wiring, associated with the equipment to be demo'd, will be removed from the distribution panel and made safe for equipment removal. 3. Lander University will have the natural gas supply piping cut loose and capped, renderingall equipment made safe for removal. 4.
