Description

Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Seneca, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

Repairs to the South Cove Pavilion shall include removal of the existing posts with adequate structural support maintained at all times, installation of new foundation, replacement of the posts, replacement of all post supports, and the reinstallation or replacement of any trim removed or affected to facilitate inspection and assessment of structural damage. Staining of the structure will be performed by the County. All work shall be completed in accordance with the engineer's plans and specifications. The selected general contractor shall be responsible for obtaining a building permit; however, standard permit fees will be waived by the County. Any costs associated with re-inspections resulting from failed inspections, as well as any stop-work order fees, shall be the responsibility of the contractor and will not be waived. Oconee County is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed general contractors to complete repairs to the South Cove Pavilion in accordance with the provided plans. The finished structure must be restored to match its original appearance. Questions must be submitted via email to tpopham@oconeesc.com no later than Tuesday, May 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
