The project is generally described as installing a Whole Building Generator System consisting of a 1,000 KVA Diesel Generator, Enclosure, Lights, Panelboard, Receptacle, Belly Tank, Fuel Polisher, Control Kit to upgrade an existing Manual Transfer Switchgear to an Automatic Unit, Concrete Pad, Feeder Circuits, Branch Circuits, Conduits, grounding, interconnections, control equipment, grading, seeding, diesel fuel, testing, and related components. The Contractor is responsible for making all equipment interconnections, bolting equipment to pads, providing all diesel fuel, control equipment and wiring, all conduits, grading, trenching, backfill, main pad and pads, all 480V, 277V, and 120V wiring, secondary wiring, generator lights, generator receptacle, generator panel, labels, setup testing, and related work. CONTRACT TIME: Work of the Contract shall begin no later than seven (7) days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial Completion shall be no later than January 7, 2027. Final completion shall be no later than January 14, 2027. QA date - 5-22-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
