Build Nova Scotia is hosting a virtual Industry Session to provide an overview of an upcoming Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) for Mechanical and Electrical Trades for the Clinical Services Building at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. The session will outline the proposed procurement approach, evaluation process, and anticipated delivery model. The RFSQ is intended to prequalify up to three qualified proponents for a subsequent invitational Request for Proposal. The RFSQ will focus on qualifications, experience, and systems, with mandatory technical requirements assessed on a pass/fail basis and rated criteria evaluating capability and experience. Attendance at the session is optional and not a condition of participation in any future procurement process. The select Mechanical and Electrical scopes intended to be procured in Cost Plus are: Tender Package TPB-05 - Mechanical TPB-05.04: Mechanical (Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, AC) Note: This contract excludes Building Automation and Controls, as well as any items covered under previously awarded trade contracts. Recommendation: Issue under the proposed Cost-Plus model. Tender Package TPB-06 - Electrical TPB-06.01: Electrical (including Communications) Recommendation: Issue under the proposed Cost-Plus model.
