Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Seeking Statements of Qualifications from licensed engineering firms for professional engineering services, construction administration, construction engineering, and inspections in preparation for a street improvement project. The work includes resurfacing approximately 7.3 centerline miles (96.9k SY of asphalt), pavement repair, resurfacing, rehabilitation (mill & overlay), reconstruction, and utility adjustments on selected roads. Any pedestrian curb ramp and adjacent sidewalk sections within the project limits must be evaluated and, if feasible, upgraded to the latest ADA (PROWAG) standards. The consultant will use provided pavement condition survey data and confirm its acceptability. Required services include design and construction document development, project management, contract administration, permitting, bidding, services during construction (including administration and inspections), and managing public engagement during construction.
