Questions Due Date: May 11th 2026, 2:00 PM CDT Provide Labor and Materials: • Acquire necessary permits, fees, and inspections (unless otherwise stated) • Perform lockout/tagout procedures and disconnect electrical power at the existing disconnect switch. • Verify zero energy state prior to beginning any work. • Provide all required temporary rigging, supports, and safety measures for work within the plenum space. • Disconnect and remove existing fan motor wiring, conduit whip, and associated electrical components. • Remove existing flexible duct connectors at the fan inlet and discharge. • Remove or temporarily disassemble ductwork and access panels as required to access the fan assembly. • Remove existing mounting hardware, supports, and spring isolation hangers. • Utilize rigging equipment (chain falls, lifting devices) to safely lower and remove the existing fan assembly. • Transport removed equipment to designated disposal or owner-specified location. • Prepare existing ductwork, structural supports, and installation area for new equipment. • Modify ductwork as required to accommodate removal and installation of fan assemblies. • Furnish and install one (1) new inline return air fan assembly: o Manufacturer: American Fan Company o Model: 100HG71/4/12/35 (or approved equal) o Belt-driven with backward-inclined wheel o Factory balanced o Complete with motor, drives, and spring vibration isolation hangersHoist and position new fan into plenum using proper rigging methods. • Install fan on vibration isolation hangers and adjust for proper leveling and alignment. • Install new flexible duct connectors at inlet and discharge. • Reconnect and seal ductwork, including fabrication of transitions and reinforcements as required. • Reconnect power from existing disconnect to new fan motor. • Provide and install new conduit, fittings, and wiring as required. • Furnish and install one (1) new Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for fan operation. • Furnish and install new digital damper actuators for outside air intake. • Integrate VFD and actuators with existing building control system (if applicable and accessible). • Test and verify proper operation of the fan, VFD, and damper actuators. • Confirm correct rotation, alignment, and vibration levels. • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards. • Remove all debris and surplus materials from the job site. • Leave work area clean and in acceptable condition.
