It is the intent of WSSC to obtain a Contractor to perform the annual inspections and recommended annual preventive maintenance (PM) on approximately 206 overhead cranes/hoists at various WSSC facilities located within Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland. The Contractor must perform a thorough annual inspection of the hoisting machinery and provide lubrication to all components requiring such. If required, the Contractor must perform emergency repair services in order to maintain all cranes/hoists in proper operating condition, on a time and material basis. The Contractor may be required to change the oil in the cranes/hoists listed herein and perform a full-rated operational load test on the cranes and monorails located in the Chlorine Buildings.
