The Santa Cruz Water System is accepting proposals for Professional Engineering Services for the design and construction of a Water System Improvements Project. Santa Cruz Water Association is seeking an engineering consultant for their Water System Improvement Project to include Planning, Design, Bid Administration, Construction Management and Construction Oversight. The Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) shall be prepared under USDA 1780-2 Guidelines. The scope of work includes water system improvements such as explore alternatives to identify potential improvements to our current infrastructure by identifying new efficiencies, installing new infrastructure such as booster pumps to increase and stabilize water pressure throughout the entire system, identify and replace antiquated waterlines, water meter replacement and relocation so that all water meters(radio read) are within public road right-of-way, a hydrogeology study, analysis of source (well) and distribution system condition, pump, pumping stations. Upon approval of the PER by NMED, Santa Cruz Water Association also seeks design and construction services to be considered as funding allows.
