New construction and renovation of a military facility in Miami, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 78,625-square-foot military facility; and for the construction of a 70,110-square-foot military facility.

As of May 19, 2026, only a presolicitation notice has been issued for this project. An RFP is expected to be issued in the near future. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Alter and renovate the existing 78,625 square foot LTC Luis E. Martinez Army Reserve Center training building, construct a new 19,363 square foot collocated Area Maintenance Support Activity and Vehicle Maintenance Shop, and construct a new 50,747 square foot Organizational Storage Building. The work includes all supporting facilities and infrastructure such as land clearing, building demolition, paving, concrete aprons, a vehicle wash rack and platform, a bi-level equipment loading ramp, a mobile kitchen trailer pad, a SATS trailer canopy, fencing, general site improvements, and utility connections. The project also requires providing approximately 13,200 square feet of temporary swing space at Homestead Air Reserve Base using relocatable facilities prior to the start of construction. The contractor shall be responsible for the design, installation, utility connections, maintenance, and removal of the temporary facilities at the conclusion of the construction period. All work shall be performed under a firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build contract to deliver complete and functional facilities. The Contract Duration is estimated at 1020 calendar days from Contract Award. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
