The plan will establish appropriate and sustainable maintenance standards for the course and will recommend future capital improvement options for the long-term health of the Indian Peaks golf course. The project involves comprehensive professional analysis of the course, its maintenance and facility operations as well as opportunities to reduce carbon emissions, improve energy and water efficiency while integrating resilient planning strategies to better prepare for climate impacts such as extreme heat, drought, and changing environmental conditions, and should include coordinated public outreach and engagement to understand desires and input from golfers and residents of the Lafayette community. The project shall assess operations to outline and prioritize strategies and possible improvements for the course and capital assets. The plan must consider alignment of golf course revenues and ongoing operational expenditures as well as incorporating the City's Water Efficiency & Water Readiness Plan to ensure long-term financial and operational sustainability of the City's golf program.
