The Newark Housing Authority (NHA) is requesting bids from qualified companies to provide chemical treatment to low pressure steam boilers located at various housing developments all located within the limits of the city of Newark. The NHA owns, operates and maintains approximately 7,500 units of public housing for low-income tenants consisting of high-rise family and elderly complexes as well as low rise and townhouse projects. Approximately 6,500 units of this housing stock is occupied with the remaining vacant units scheduled for either renovation, major rehabilitation, or demolition/replacement of suitable new units. The NHA has thirty-seven (37) housing projects.
