The Jones Point Facilities Rehabilitation project will replace the existing 1.43 Million Gallon Per Day (MGD) wastewater pump station with a new 1.48 MGD pump station and 8-inch diameter force main. The existing pump station will remain in service during construction of the new pump station and force main. An access road will be constructed to provide access to the pump station and to serve as an alternative access to the existing Huntington Levee access road. Once the new pump station and force main are completed and have passed testing, the old pump station will be partially demolished. This project will utilize the Envision Verification Program with Envision Silver Verification being pursued. The General Contract for this project is anticipated to be advertised for bid in October 2026 with bid opening in November 2026. The projected Contract Award date is planned for February 2027, with an anticipated construction start of March 2027. The overall construction duration is planned to be 548 calendar days.
