Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the Fennell Street Substation Repairs and 4.16kV Relay Replacement. The bid must be based on the provided specifications, contract documents, and any addenda. The project is an exempt capital improvement, so bidders should not include sales and compensating use taxes for materials to be incorporated into the work but sold to the Village prior to incorporation. Bidders must meet all requirements regarding conditions of employment and minimum wage rates under the contract. Bids will not be accepted from entities deemed “Non-Responsible” by the New York State Office of General Services. Bidders must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor for the duration of the work. Each proposal must include bid security of at least five percent of the bid amount. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
