The services will include inspection, testing, maintenance, and any necessary servicing activities required to ensure the fire suppression systems remain fully operational and compliant with applicable safety and operational standards. The work will be performed in secure industrial environments and must be accomplished by contractors with appropriate technical expertise, safety programs, quality assurance measures, and operational controls to support maintenance of commercial and industrial machinery and equipment. The Government intends to use the information received to determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy, including the potential for a small business set-aside, full and open competition, or sole source procurement.
