This project consists of three separate contracts for compliance with Wicks Law: General Construction, Electrical Construction, and Plumbing Construction. The work generally consists of the construction of a new granular activated carbon treatment facility including a new building enclosure, new piping, valves, chemical treatment, standby generator, and all appurtenances. The work also includes all associated connections to the existing well at the site, power, controls, SCADA, wiring, drainage, site paving, and restoration. The project is funded in part by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC) and may also receive Federal assistance from the EPA, making it subject to Davis-Bacon, Build America Buy America (BABA), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program requirements. Bonds: Certified Check required, 5% Bid Bond, Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Payment Bond required (unspecified amount). This project is to be funded in whole or in part using funds from the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC). All projects funded by the NYSEFC must conform to the goals stated in NYS Executive Law - Article 15-A and 17-B. The Contractor will agree to make documented "good faith efforts" to utilize a combined goal of 30% Minority Business Enterprise(s) and Women's Business Enterprise(s) for this project; and a 6% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business goal.
