Purpose and Scope: Soliciting bids for the construction and/or reconstruction of curb ramps throughout the City of Charleston. The project consists of the replacement of existing concrete curb and adjacent sidewalk at various locations within the City. All work must comply with the July 26, 2011, Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), Chapter R3: Technical Requirements. Specifications are minimum requirements unless otherwise stated, and deviations must be described in detail. The vendor must provide all materials, labor, equipment, and any incidental items necessary for completion, even if not explicitly included in the project plans. Funding may include federal dollars, requiring adherence to the Federal Funds Addendum and Federal Wage Rates Requirements.
