In general, the scope of planned or emergency work may include, but not be limited to, the installation and/or repair of pipes, concrete walls, valves, slide/sluice gates, electrical systems, metal and concrete tanks, sumps, pumps, ducts, and typical wastewater equipment. The work may also involve the removal of hazardous materials. The site of the work is generally located at 700 Pacific Coast Highway, Pacifica, California. Work shall be completed within 730 calendar days from the date when contract time commences to run. The estimated cost of construction for the project is not to exceed $200,000.00. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit and conduct a careful examination of bidding documents. All bids must be submitted electronically through the City's eProcurement portal by the specified deadline. A California contractor license is required. Bidders are required to be currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Bids must include all required documents: Bid Form, Bond Accompanying Bid, Bidder Registration Form, Subcontractors List, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bidder Certifications, and, if applicable, CARB In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleet Certification. The successful bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws and related requirements contained in the contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or bids, waive any irregularities, and determine the lowest responsible bid at its discretion. Bidders are solely responsible for the cost of preparing their bids.
