The work includes providing plumbing services in support of preventive maintenance, on-demand, and capital improvement activities for the West Valley Housing Authority (WVHA). The type, quantity, and timing of work are presently unknown and will be covered by an Indefinite Quantities / Indefinite Delivery Contract. The contract will be established with an initial two-year term and can be extended for up to three additional one-year periods. The work involves repair and/or replacement of potable water filtration, heating, recirculation, and distribution components, as well as drain, waste, and vent components in use throughout WVHA’s properties. Bidders must provide a fixed hourly rate for labor for both regular hours and after hours, weekends, or holidays. Attention is called to equal employment opportunity provisions and payment of minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the project manual. WVHA may reject any bid not in compliance with bidding procedures and requirements, and award will be based on the best overall value to the authority. Retainage is set at 10% and bonds or securities may not be substituted for retainage. Interested bidders can obtain bid documents and direct technical questions as instructed.
