Work on the project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the installation of a Type II Micro-Surfacing, striping removal, installation of new striping, traffic control, street sweeping, and all other work included on the plans for the project. Bids are required for the entire work described. Thirty (30) working days will be allowed for completion of all work under the contract. No bid will be considered unless it conforms to the Contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in a bid. Bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online electronic bid platform at QuestCDN.com. Prospective bidders must register with QuestCDN.com and purchase contract documents to be considered a Planholder and eligible to submit a bid. All proposals or bids must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, or a bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. The winning contractor will be required to provide a payment bond and a bond for faithful performance. Contractors and subcontractors must hold a current license and be listed with the Department of Industrial Relations. Only contractors with a Class "A" Contractors License may bid. It is recommended for the contractor to have, at minimum, one key project employee to have taken and passed AASHTO TSP-2 certification in the past three years.
