Site work for a water / sewer project in Martinsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes open cut construction of approximately 17,400 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer, 137 sanitary sewer manholes, 280 sanitary sewer service laterals, and associated work in Martinsville, Virginia. Bids are to be submitted sealed, subject to the contract documents, for the Villa Heights Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. Bids will be received until, but not later than, 3:00 P.M., local prevailing time, on June 24, 2026. The contract documents must be obtained from the owner’s procurement site at https://www.henrycountyva.gov/bids.aspx. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 3, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. local prevailing time in the 1st Floor Board Room – “Summerlin Room”, Henry County Administration Building, 3300 Kings Mountain Road, Martinsville, VA 24112. The pre-bid conference can also be joined online via Microsoft Teams or by telephone. See attached invitation to bid for more information.
