The project is for the Paulding Shade Structure. Bids must be made and presented only on the forms provided by the District. All bids must be received at the Facilities Office at 222 Stanley Avenue, Arroyo Grande, California 93420 and will be opened and publicly read aloud at the specified time and place. Late bids will be returned unopened. The contract period is from June 17, 2026, to September 4, 2026. The project is subject to the formal bid requirements of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) and all guidelines and requirements in the current California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission Cost Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. Contractors should review the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and General Requirements for details regarding Milestones and Liquidated Damages. If additive or deductive alternates are included in the bid, the lowest bid shall be determined by the base contract price only, regardless of the prices on the alternate items. The District may use any of the additive or deductive alternates after determining the lowest responsible responsive bidder.
