Renovation of a military facility in Astoria, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The Government has a requirement to address structural deficiencies involving the replacement of rotten stair supports, as well as a section of compromised plywood sheathing, identified as an approximately triangular area measuring 7 feet by 5 feet by 11 feet. This effort is essential to maintain safety and structural integrity. The existing 18 concrete steps will be preserved and reused; however, all degraded or rotten stringers and the first stair landing will be replaced in kind with materials of matching size, type, and durability. Additionally, to ensure proper water management and longevity of the structure, new flashing will be installed on all replaced stringers. The scope of this effort covers all labor, materials, and equipment required to complete these replacements and associated tasks in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Government requirements. Specific details of the replacement work and associated conditions will be outlined in individual task orders (TOs) or delivery orders (DOs) issued under this contract, as necessary. The contractor must perform to the standards in this Scope of Work (SOW) contract. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete stair repairs in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. All work shall meet applicable safety, quality, and workmanship standards and comply with the Davis-Bacon Act wage determination identified for this requirement. Performance is anticipated to occur between 8 June 2026 and 27 July 2026, subject to change after award. A mandatory site visit is required for all offerors to ensure accurate assessment of site conditions and development of a complete and competitive quote.
