Site work and paving for a road / highway in Webster, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of furnishing and placing approximately 65- Hot Mix Resurfacing (overlay) on Asphalt Pavement on the following roadway segments: West Connors Lake Road, beginning at the County Road A terminus and extending toward the Stone Road terminus, approximately 0.92 miles; and West Connors Lake Road Spur, approximately 0.16 miles. The overlay shall be placed at a thickness of 1.5 inches in one lift and a width of 22 feet. The unit price bid shall include all costs associated with the project, including but not limited to: production, hauling, and placement of materials, mobilization and demobilization of labor and equipment, quality control testing and reporting, compliance with material specifications, traffic control, permitting and licensing, reposting if required, overhead, administrative costs, and profit, and any incidental items necessary to complete the work as specified. All work shall be completed in accordance with the latest edition of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, including Part 1 and applicable sections of Part 4. An Engineering Certification will be required upon completion, certifying that the work meets Wisconsin DOT specifications and achieves a 10-year design life. The Town of Oakland reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that best serves the interests of the Town.
