This work shall consist of constructing an asphalt concrete intermediate course of aggregate and asphalt cement mixed in a central plant and spread and compacted on a prepared surface in accordance with these specifications and in reasonably close conformity with the lines, grades and typical sections established by the City Engineer. The requirements ofItem 448 ofthe Standard Specifications shall apply; deviations from these are as shown. Engineer Estimate: $369,212.80 Sealed proposals are requested for the "2026 STREET IMPROVEMENT OF WEST TREVITT STREET AND PART OF THE 100 BLOCK OF EAST BEMENT STREET." Each proposal must include the full name of every person or company interested, a notarized non-collusion clause, and a bid guaranty in one of the following forms: a bond for the full amount of the bid, a bond for 10% of the bid amount, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. The bid guaranties must be made payable to the City of Bryan and must be issued by a surety company authorized in Ohio. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty days of submission. The successful bidder must pay prevailing wage rates and comply with all state and federal drug-free workplace laws. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. Bidders must obtain original plans and specifications from the City of Bryan and be registered as plan holders. Bids must be submitted on original forms, state unit prices, be signed, and sealed in an envelope marked accordingly.
